After graduating from NCCC, Jennifer received her Bachelor’s from SUNY Brockport. Afterwards, she was an on air news personality at Rochester’s WDKX radio where she interviewed many famous stars such as Tina Turner, BB King, Will Smith, and more.

Jennifer then returned to Niagara Falls where she attended the University at Buffalo’s Law School. In 1993, she graduated magna cum laude and was sworn into the New York State and Washington D.C. Bars. Jennifer moved to D.C. to work at the law firm of Arent Fox. She worked on various litigation cases including the high profile class action case of weight discrimination brought by Delta flight attendants.

Jennifer never forgot that Niagara County was her home returning to the area in 2004. She is currently the Director of Risk Management and Insurance Services for the County of Niagara. Jennifer is also a Board Member and volunteers for the Niagara SPCA, promoting fundraising for shelter animals and has adopted two rescues while fostering a third.

In the late summer of 2013, Jennifer suffered a massive stroke. She endured a seven hour neurosurgery and remained in a coma for the next month. Within one year, Jennifer had fought her way back to complete health and had returned to work. She continues to be responsible for the administration of the County’s insurance plans, workers' compensation, and safety programs for 12 of its municipalities. Jennifer is proud of the success she achieved with a SUNY education and attributes her start to NCCC.
