Accessibility Services Coordinator (TA)

Full time/twelve month technical assistant position reporting to the Program Administrator for Accessibility Services
This position oversees the coordination and provision of services for disabled students requesting accommodations to assure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal laws and regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities at the College. This individual also serves as a resource for students regarding their accommodation(s), academic performance, registration, and referral to appropriate resources. Evening/weekend hours may be required. Current contractual annual salary is $43,811.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Counseling or Bachelor’s Degree and the equivalent of four months (one semester) full time experience working in an educational environment.
Master’s Degree in Student Personnel/Higher Education Administration, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field. Experience providing services directly to students with disabilities. Experience working with Ellucian Banner, creating educational materials and publications, and giving educational presentations in a professional setting.
