Nursing Technical Assistant (TA) Simulation Lab

DESCRIPTION:

Full-time, ten month, para-professional position in the Nursing Program Simulation Lab.  Responsibilities include setting up computerized scenarios, providing technical support for faculty, maintaining simulation equipment, coordinator of learning experiences in the simulation labs, and participation in departmental activities.  Current contractual annual salary is $36,509 start date is August 2017.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree with a major in Nursing; current NYS licensure as an RN.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Recent experience with high fidelity medical simulation equipment; experience maintaining Laerdal simulation lab equipment; experience with programming scenario applications for simulation; recent experience (within previous 5 years) in acute medical/surgical area; experience working in a college-learning environment.
