Part time Technical Assistant reporting to the Director of Technical Services. The Technical Assistant works in a team with the Director of Technology Services and other staff to provide information technology (IT) services to the College community. This position is responsible for providing technical support for all software and hardware for all College PCs, Apple and Microsoft, at the Sanborn and Niagara Falls campuses. Additional duties include preparing surplus and/or obsolete equipment for redeployment, auction, recycling or scrap, and in providing support as needed to the OIT staff, including warehouse work and lab hardware setup. Remuneration is $13 per hour.
Associate’s Degree with a minimum of one (1) year paid work experience providing hands on PC hardware and software support.
Must be able to operate computer equipment; must be able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift and move 30 to 40 lb. components; must be able to relate with faculty, staff, and administrators of the college.
