DESCRIPTION: Teach developmental writing and first and second year college courses (typically three lecture hours per week) during days and/or evenings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in English, English Education or a Master’s degree in a related field; demonstrated evidence of knowledge of current theories of composition and literature; experience teaching at the secondary or post-secondary level; excellent written communication skills as demonstrated by application materials.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: ABD or Ph.D. in English, English Education, or in Composition and Rhetoric; extensive course work in composition; experience teaching in technology enhanced classrooms; evidence of successful teaching non-traditional students.
