P/T Program Administrators - Liberty Partnerships Program

DESCRIPTION:

Part time (20 – 28 hours per week), 12-month, grant-funded positions reporting to a Program Director within the Liberty Partnerships Program.  Responsible for providing supportive services to students in grades 5 through 12 who are enrolled in partner school districts.  Evening/weekend hours may be required.  Remuneration is $20 per hour. Positions are currently available.

The Program Administrator is responsible for providing program services to all students enrolled in the Liberty Partnerships Program.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and conducting tutorials, monitoring student progress, planning events, and documentation of services and student progress. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Must be able to relate to a diverse student population and academic personnel; must be able to manage multiple functions; must be able to operate computers; must be able to speak to groups; must be able to physically perform the duties of the position; must be able to travel between work site and main campus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling or related area. Three (3) years full-time or equivalent part-time paid, professional experience working in an educational setting. Individual must be able to prepare and make presentations to groups.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree in Education or related field; experience working with students identified as "at risk".
