P/T Teacher Toddler Room (grant funded position)

The NCCC Child Development Center serves toddler children ages 18 - 2 year old. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning and preparing the learning environment; individualizing toddler routines; facilitating curriculum goals and objectives, facilitating and recording monthly observation and assessment measures for children; coordinating parent and teacher conferences. Current remuneration is $13.00 per hour for maximum of 30 hours week for approximately 30 weeks (7:30 Am - 1:30 pm OR 8:00 am - 2:00 pm) Monday through Friday from late August through mid-May). Reliable transportation to and from work is an expectation. All applications meeting required qualifications will be kept on file for a one year period and reviewed should additional needs arise.
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or related field; two years of consistent paid experience as a lead teacher in an infant/toddler classroom within the last four years; certification of at least 16 hours or 4.5 continuing education units (CEUs) in infant/toddler education and/or training courses.
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field; CDA Credential; state provisional or permanent teacher certification.
