P/T Technical Assistant in Animation

DESCRIPTION: Position reports to the Animation Program Coordinator. Responsible for overseeing lab time for animation students on Fridays and/or Saturdays, opening and closing the lab, monitoring the equipment, answering student questions, and managing technical problems regarding software or equipment. 8 - 10 hours per week (additional hours possible). Remuneration is $13/hour.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Art or Fine Arts (college seniors enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Arts or Fine Arts may apply provided 3 reference letters from professors are included with application materials); experience with traditional and digital animation techniques; experience with Maya and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite specifically After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Toon Boom Animate software.
