Roundsperson @ NCCC
DESCRIPTION: Position will remain open until candidate is selected. Part-time, position reporting to the College Association of NCCC, Inc. Department Supervisor.
This position is responsible to assist the Porter and Cashier with various tasks to maintain the flow of the department. The roundsperson assists with daily caterings: set up, delivery and breakdown. Wash pots, pans, dishes and service ware. Responsible for visually inspecting all items washed to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation. Sweeps and mops kitchen and back of the house food prep area. Remove trash from kitchen and cafeteria areas. As well as verifies and puts away all inventory.
Ability to physically perform the duties of the position; ability to relate to a diverse clientele including customers, students, members of the faculty and staff, and administration of the College; ability to verbally communicate to groups and individuals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Willingness to learn the Micros Point of Sale System. Ability to adhere to all safety and sanitation standards of the department. Must be able to lift food products of 50lbs or more and able to stand for long periods of time.
