Computer Science Instructor

DESCRIPTION:Full-Time, 10 month term (tenure track) position in the Division of Business, Technology and The Arts. In addition to a full-time teaching load (a minimum of 15 hours of contact per semester) responsibilities include student advisement, curriculum and course development, and participation in college and departmental activities. Current annual salary for a 10 month instructor position is $47,785. Position is available to start on August 23, 2018.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area; enrolled in a Master’s degree program at an accredited college, teaching experience in an object oriented programming language.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related area; experience with the application of computer technology in teaching/learning; experience with on-line instructional delivery methods; experience with program and course development; experience with computer architecture, databases or cyber security; 2 or more years of working experience in a computer related field, experience at a community college environment.
