Christine Duquin


What I love most about working in Early Childhood Education is the smiles, and hugs I get from the young children that are part of our center here at NCCC. I pride myself in building strong relationships with all the children, parents and staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment.


Master's Degree in K-5 Mathematics from Walden University.

Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College.


Michelle Leffler

Assistant to the Director

I enjoy every aspect of my job. I love helping the parents to achieve their goals and the childrens smiling faces are the icing on the cake. I have been at NCCC for a little over a year and I look forward to continuing the great work we do here. 


Degree in Business Administration from Niagara University.

Brittany Bisher

Toddler 1 Lead Teacher

Hello, My name is Brittany Bisher and I have been working in a daycare setting for three years. I am currently studying Childhood Education here at NCCC with a plan to transfer to Buffalo State where I will pursue a bachelor's degree.

One day I plan to have my own second or third grade classroom where I will continue to help children grow. What I love most about my job is incorporating learning with play. I enjoy all the relationships I build and watching the children develop as an individual. Its important to me to create warm and safe environment for all my children.

Deborah Vertino

Toddler 2 Lead Teacher

Hello, My name is Deborah Vertino and I am currently the Lead Teacher in Toddler 2 here at Niagara County Community College. 

Over the past 30 years, I've enjoyed using my education, and my life experiences to help guide young children on their journey of learning and growing to reach their full potential. 


Associated of Applied Science in Human Services from Genesee Community College.

Preschool Lead Teacher

I've known since I was about 5 years old that I wanted to be an Early Childhood Teacher. There's nothing more rewarding and inspiring than seeing the progress young children make and knowing you are helping to make a difference in their lives.
