Ms. Meyers has been involved with youth programming for over twenty years. She has worked for Family & Children's Service of Niagara, Inc. as a Resident Counselor at one of their residential facilities, and also as a Court Liaison for their Court Diversion program, where she linked individuals to services offered in the community. In addition, as a Domestic Violence Educator, she gave presentations to local high schools on Teen Dating Violence Prevention. In that capacity, she served on a New York State Coalition to develop a consistent curriculum that is presently used state-wide. Prior to NCCC, Ms. Meyers worked as a Civilian for the U.S. Navy, most notably, the Judge Advocate General's Office (JAG), where she assisted service men and women, and their families. MS. Meyers is a graduate of Starpoint High School, and holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master's Degree in Management of Government, Public, and Private, Non-profit Agencies, both of which she received from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo. She looks forward to enriching the Liberty Program students' high school experience by creating various programming that is both educational and fun.
