At an All-College meeting in September 2019, the College community was invited to participate in the planning process and asked to begin sharing its ideas for a reimagined SUNY Niagara on its 60th anniversary in 2022—a strong, vibrant college with improved academic excellence, enhanced student enrichment opportunities, broader community and workforce engagement, and overall institutional sustainability and improvement.

With those four strategic goals in mind, the Strategic Planning Committee led a college-wide review and update of the College’s mission statement that progressed through the Student and Faculty Senates and ultimately to the Board of Trustees. The result of this extensive self-assessment of our mission and overall efforts to meet that mission is 60 Years Strong: SUNY Niagara Reimagined.
