International Business, A.S.
More than ever, business is carried out in a global arena. As our world becomes more economically connected, there is an increased need for business people with an international perspective set upon a strong foundation in business skills. In a global arena, each aspect of management – marketing, operations, and supply-chain management must be carried out with sensitivity to cultural, geographic and economic differences that may exist between regions and countries.
Program Goals and Objectives
- To provide an interdisciplinary appreciation of the world.
- Provide students with strong business skills.
- Assist students in completing seven general education areas, specifically chosen to develop an appreciation of cultures outside the United States.
The program enlightened a former student to study abroad in Vietnam and investigate manufacturing plants in that country.
