Ride for Roswell

SUNY Niagara served as one of 4 host sites for the Ride for Roswell. This annual event is one of the nation’s largest cycling events, with a mission of bringing riders, volunteers and cancer patients together to honor and support those impacted by cancer. Proceeds from the event directly benefit Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

NFCI Student Club

NFCI Student Club members collected over 500 items to make 50 care packages for those suffering from homelessness. The care packages were donated to the Niagara Falls Community Missions.

Gingerbread Wonderland

Each year our talented baking and pastry arts students and faculty transform the second floor of the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute into a Gingerbread Wonderland complete with a completely edible life-sized gingerbread village and Santa’s house.  The building is full of holiday spirit from the weekend after Thanksgiving until the weekend before Christmas, including live entertainment, cookie decorating, crafts, face painting, and visits with Santa Claus himself!

Health Studies Program

Health Studies students collected blankets, food, toys, cleaning supplies, and grooming tools to present to the Niagara SPCA.

SUNY Niagara employees participated in the United Way Day of Caring by spending time working on a painting project at Empower in Niagara Falls.
